Ah, to be a virgin again… February 12, 2008

Ok. Here it is. My first attempt at being a blogger and I did it without my kid’s or husband’s help. There is hope after all!
My lack of computer experience has been the subject of many jokes at my house. Everything I can do on the computer I have taught myself. I taught myself to check email, download music, burn discs and I even taught myself how to use Word. This is huge when you consider my last work experience with computers was the early 90’s when computers had their own rooms, printers where the size of an engine block and only the inhouse computers could talk to each other (you couldn’t send something to another office). I know… I’m showing my age but hey I’ve been either cutting hair, applying makeup or staying home with my kids for the last 15 or so years and you don’t need a computer for any of that.
So, what have you done recently that you had never done before? What would you like to try if only you could muster the courage?
