i read your book May 14, 2008

I love books. In fact there is nothing better I love than a new book. Three of my favorite authors have new books coming out and I can hardly wait. Nora Robert’s 2nd book in the Sign of Seven Trilogy The Hollow is out now.

Elizabeth Lowell’s Blue Smoke and Murder comes out May 27th.

But the one I am most eager to read is Janet Evanovich’s  Fearless Fourteen, the 14th book in the Plum series that doesn’t come out until June 17th. If only she’d write faster! <<sigh>>

What new books are you dying to read?

I love Nora Roberts - I think of her books as quick fixes. The writing is so tight, there’s not a wasted word, and yet somehow she takes me right into each scene. Love her. I’m actually waiting and hoping Jude Deveraux comes out with something new. I doubt she will but I have hope. Otherwise, I read as many books from my RWA chapter members as I can.

    Debbie-
I bought The Hollow this morning. Can’t wait to read it!

I’m so far behind in my reading. You should see my stacks (yeah — like a library, only in stacks on the floor.)

I am eager, though, for Tess Gerritsen’s yet-to-be-titled new book involving Egypt and archeologists.

My mom loves her books. I haven’t read her yet. Maybe I’ll have to borrow one…

You might want to hold off buying Fearless Fourteen until you’ve skimmed it in the store. I finished it a few days ago, and omigod. It was just so boring! And the few times it wasn’t boring, it was just so…ew! It was like watching a train wreck. A sad, disappointing, slightly infuriating train wreck…

    Abigail-
Really? I read the exerpts and liked them. It seemed like vintage Evanovich to me.
